Hui Aloha ‘Āina Momona

Hui Aloha ʻĀina Momona seeks to develop aloha ʻāina tools and skills to enrich the experiences and bodies of ʻohana and kaiāulu. In addition to mālama of growing community participation, Hui Aloha ʻĀina Momona takes an ʻāina-based approach to growing meaningful and long term strategies to connect people to the land by continuing to empower and inspire kalo farmers across the Hawaiian islands. When Covid19 hit, Hui Aloha ʻĀina Momonaʻs response was to provide people with the means to grow their own food. With the belief that we all have a stake in agriculture, Hui Aloha ʻĀina Momona , with the support of HPF, is asking for the community to be part of the solution by planting and caring for the free huli they are given for 10 months, which will then be replanted as part of the vision to open up 10,000 taro patches.
