Kulaiwi Land Trust's mission is to be a catalyst and conduit for the return of Native Hawaiian lands to Native Hawaiians for Native Hawaiian use in the areas of culture, education, health, and wellbeing.
Kulaiwi is building a community-rooted vehicle for the return of 'āina to lāhui in ways that restore stewardship, strengthen community stability, and create long-term benefit. Their work evolved from pursuing a single large project to developing organizational leadership, strategy, and partnerships needed to receive, hold, and activate land for community good.
